TOBY K. EASLEY (D.Min., Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary), is a theologian, author, and speaker with twenty-nine years of public speaking and instructional experience, that has produced increased knowledge and positive results in many people’s lives. He has taught and preached through every New Testament book at least once and others multiple times in the last twenty-eight years. He has earned the reputation as an "exceptional teacher and writer," by communicating Biblical and historical knowledge with twenty-first century application.
As a result of his love for New Testament Greek and Biblical exegesis, Easley enjoys thoughtfully evaluating great exegetes and communicators from the past and the present. During his doctoral studies, he had the opportunity to research at Yale University’s Beinecke Library, where he examined the original manuscripts of Jonathan Edwards. Edwards was one of the key leaders of the American Colonial “Great Awakening” that occurred in the early 1740’s. Following the completion of his doctoral dissertation on Edwards’s Five Stages of Homiletical Development, he has continued to pursue further research on the 18th century theologian and philosopher. Additionally, by invitation he presents other topics at seminars, lecture series, and church meetings.
For the past ten years, he has been a member of the Evangelical Theological Society and the Evangelical Homiletics Society.
